    The river Novia is on the south coast, west of the East Rother (Lympne) and east of the Arun (Ptolemy's Trisantonis). It is likely connected with the recorded Nuba for Nova (R&C 68) which is presumably between Pevensey and the river Ouse. The river Cuckmere seems to be the only choice.
