Funtmeales (gen.) 744
Fontmell Brook must have been the 'Honey river', for its color, its taste or the abundance of bee hives in its vicinity. Its northern branches rise on the slopes of Fontmell Down in the midst of great Celtic field systems, flowing past Fontmell Magna to Fontamell Parva where it joins the Stour.
