    A Roman fort has been proposed at Holylee* (NT3937). Continuing westward from Torwoodlee, along Roy's road, is the Roman Temporary Camp at Innerleithen (NT3336). The camp is on the north bank of the Tweed west of the mouth of Leithen Water.
