    There was cross-contamination between the two consecutive Cosmography entries Lectoceto and Laciodulma (for Iectoduro). The -c- of Lectoceto (for Letoceto) is not necessarily an assimilation to L. lecto- 'bed', the similarity of form of the initial elements - Leto- and Iecto- is enough to explain the error.
    The lost initial L of Letoceto might have been treated as a text divider and discarded, note the variant form .etoceto.
